FAQs

Answers to your soap related questions.

Soap or Shower Gel?

As shower gel typically contains skin drying perfumes and is packed in plastic, soap bars are a gentle alternative to shower gel. With recyclable paper packaging, soap bars made with natural ingredients are mild on the skin, with minimal environmental impact. Placing the soap bar on a soap dish with drainage ensures that it dries out between uses, lasting longer.

Antibacterial Soap vs Regular Soap

It is worth bearing in mind when buying soapthat 'natural' soap can be both vegan and non vegan, as some manufacturers use animal based ingredients such as tallow, beeswax or goat's milk in their soaps. Vegan soap is made with plant based ingredients only. So the term 'natural' does not necessarily mean vegan.
