Place candles on a heat resistant surface in a proper, stable holder.

Place candles away from curtains, furniture and fabrics.

Keep out of draughts.

Leave at least 1 metre between a candle and any surface above it, so that it does not burn it.

Keep clothes and hair away.

Keep out of reach of children and pets

Leave at least 10cm between two burning candles

Don’t move candles when they’re burning and don't allow anything to fall into melted wax.

Never go to sleep with a candle still burning. And never leave a burning candle or oil burner in a child’s bedroom

Use a snuffer or a spoon to extinguish.

Make double sure they’re fully extinguished.
